Add Rulers

SUMMARY: Add rulers to PowerPoint 2007 to aid in lining up presentation elements.

To help you line up elements such as text boxes, photos, shapes, and charts in your presentations, Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 can display horizontal and vertical rulers around your slides.

Via the Ribbon:

1. Click the "View" tab in the Ribbon.

2. In the "Show/Hide" section, check "Ruler".

Via a Right-Click

1. Right-click on a slide or anywhere else in the slide pane not directly on top of a display element (text box, picture, etc).

2. Check "Ruler" from the pop-up menu that appears.
