Microsoft PowerPoint 2007

Draw Attention to Part of Your Presentation with Text Reflections

SUMMARY: Make selected text in a PowerPoint 2007 presentation appear to cause a reflection.

Used in limited amounts, text effects such as glowing text and text shadowing can draw attention to parts of your Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 presentation, such as the presentation or chapter title. One other way to add pizzazz to an otherwise boring presentation is to make some text appear to cause a reflection.

1. Highlight the text you want reflected.

2. Click the "Format" tab in the Ribbon.

3. Click on the "Text Effects" pull-down, selecting "Reflection".

4. Select your desired reflection variation, with options including the reflection amount and offset.
