PowerPoint 2003 - Misc

Instantly Get Synonyms and Antonyms

SUMMARY: Describe a key point more vividly in your PowerPoint 2003 presentations.

Need a quick synonym or antonym when writing text in a Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 presentation? Don't refer to a book. Don't open up Microsoft Word and access its thesaurus. And you don't need to open a web page. Select a word with your mouse or just move your cursor in the middle of a word, and do one of the following to access the built-in thesaurus:

* Right-click, choose "Synonyms" then "Thesaurus"
* Select "Tools" - "Thesaurus"
* Press Shift-F7

A right pane, labeled "Research", will appear in PowerPoint, complete with synonyms and antonyms for the selected word (if applicable). If you want to replace the selected word with one in the thesaurus, just right-click the word and select "Insert".
