Don't Show Menus During a PowerPoint 2003 Slideshow

SUMMARY: Keep your Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 slide shows looking professional - prevent a popup menu from accidentally appearing.Bookmark and Share

When viewing a slideshow in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, if you click the right mouse button, a popup menu appears allowing you to navigate between slides, among other options. Although this menu can be useful, in some situations it may look unprofessional when giving a presentation. Thus, to disable this feature in case you may accidentally click the right mouse-button:

1. Select "Tools" - "Options".
2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "View" tab.
3. Underneath "Slide show", uncheck "Show menu on right mouse click".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
