SUMMARY: Keep your Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 slide shows looking professional - prevent a popup menu from accidentally appearing.
When viewing a slideshow in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, if you click the right mouse button, a popup menu appears allowing you to navigate between slides, among other options. Although this menu can be useful, in some situations it may look unprofessional when giving a presentation. Thus, to disable this feature in case you may accidentally click the right mouse-button:
1. Select "Tools" - "Options".
2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "View" tab.
3. Underneath "Slide show", uncheck "Show menu on right mouse click".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to PowerPoint 2003 Menus - Toolbars - Status Bar - Don't Show Menus During a PowerPoint 2003 Slideshow
