PowerPoint 2003 Text Formatting and Fonts

Change Default Font for New Text Boxes

SUMMARY: Save time changing every PowerPoint 2003 text box to a particular font by modifying the default font and formatting.


 

If you frequently need to add text boxes to your Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 presentation containing the same formatting (font name, style, color, etc.), you can easily change the defaults.

1. Click on a text box and select "Format" - "Font".

2. The "Font" dialog box will appear.

3. Make your font style selections as desired. Click the "Preview" button if desired to see your changes.

4. On the bottom-right of the dialog box, check "Default for new objects".

5. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
