PowerPoint 2003 Menus - Toolbars - Status Bar

Toggle Status Bar Display

SUMMARY: Display PowerPoint status information or more of your slides onscreen.

The status bar in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 displays useful information such as the current slide you are viewing/editing and its design type. However, some people do not need this information and would rather have more room in the window to see a particular slide's text.

To toggle displaying the status bar:

1. Click "Tools" - "Options".

2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, select the "View" tab.

3. Underneath "Show", check or uncheck "Status bar" as desired.

4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
