Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 - Toggle Status Bar Display

The status bar in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 displays useful information such as the current slide you are viewing/editing and its design type. However, some people do not need this information and would rather have more room in the window to see a particular slide's text.

To toggle displaying the status bar:

1. Click "Tools" - "Options".

2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, select the "View" tab.

3. Underneath "Show", check or uncheck "Status bar" as desired.

4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 - Toggle Status Bar Display
