PowerPoint 2003 Text Formatting and Fonts

Adding Curved Text

SUMMARY: Focus attention on certain lines of text in your Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 presentations.

Need to spice up the title of a slide in your Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 presentation? You can create curved text, rainbow text, and text in a variety of pattern shades using the WordArt tool.

1. Select a slide for editing.

2. Select "Insert" - "Picture" - "WordArt".

3. When the "WordArt Gallery" dialog box appears, select your desired base text style and click "OK".

4. An "Edit WordArt Text" dialog will appear. Enter your desired text. You can change the font name, size, and bold/italics if desired. When done, click "OK".

WordArt can be resized and moved just like other text boxes. Click on a piece of WordArt and the "WordArt" toolbar will appear. From here you can change the WordArt shape, alignment, character spacing, and much more.
