PowerPoint 2003 - Misc

Print Only a Range of Slides

SUMMARY: Print only selected PowerPoint 2003 slides based on your desired range, or just those used in a pre-made custom slide show.

When selecting "File" - "Print" to print your Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 presentation, you do not have to print all of the slides in the current file. In certain situations you may wish to print different sets of slides for different organizations, such as if you have created custom slide shows.

When the "Print" dialog box appears, underneath "Print Range" select one of the following options:

* All - Print all slides.

* Current slide - Just print the current slide.

* Selection - You can select individual slides from the Slide Sorter, Outline pane, or Slides pane, and just print those slides.

* Custom Show - If you have created a customized slide show you can select that show to only print slides references therein.

* Slides - Enter the particular slides you want printed. Separate each slide by a comma, and use a dash to designate ranges of slides.

For example, the following would print slides 2 through 5, 11, 18, 23 through 29, and 48.

2-5,11,18,23-29,48

When done, press "Preview" to preview your slide printing selection, or "OK" to print your desired slides.
