Printer's Apprentice for Windows

SUMMARY: Manage and preview fonts with Printer's Apprentice, or print customizable font catalogs and sample sheets.

Printer's Apprentice is a font manager for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. The software allows you to browse and compare fonts as well as display font information such as the file format and copyright. When previewing fonts you can display a single character, the character set, a virtual keyboard, or customizable sample text.

Fonts may be installed or uninstalled as needed for your projects. You can also copy or move fonts, or place them into groups for organization. When printing fonts you can print a font catalog, a variety of sample sheets, font information sheets, a keyboard chart, or character sets.

Configuration options include changing the menu and toolbar styles, showing font full paths, minimizing to the System Tray, and changing sample text and other options for printing font catalogs and font sample sheets.
