SUMMARY: Easily add copyright and trademark symbols to your Publisher 2007 documents, and learn how to change a setting if this feature is disabled.
As with other Microsoft Office 2007 applications, thanks to AutoCorrect features, adding copyright, trademark, and registered trademark symbols to Microsoft Publisher 2007 documents is easy.
Just enter the following text and press space, a period, comma, etc., and the text should automatically convert to the desired symbol:
(c) - Copyright
(tm) - Trademark
(r) - Registered Trademark
If this fails to work, make sure the "Replace text as you type" feature is enabled:
1. Select "Tools" - "AutoCorrect Options".
2. A language-specific AutoCorrect dialog box appears. Make sure the "AutoCorrect" tab is selected.
3. Check "Replace text as you type".
Enabling Publisher 2007's "Replace text as you type" feature - note the top three replacements should be the desired symbols
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Microsoft Publisher 2007 - Add Copyright, Trademark, Registered Trademark Symbols to Documents
