SUMMARY: Prevent Publisher 2007 from showing a button whenever you paste formatted text.
Whenever you paste formatted text containing specific font, style, and size information into a Microsoft Publisher 2007 document, such as from Microsoft Word, Publisher displays a button that looks like a clipboard. When you click this button, Publisher provides text pasting options such as whether or not you wish to keep the formatting of the source document or use the destination's text formatting.
If you never use these features and find the button an annoyance, the following tweak disables it.
1. Select "Tools" - "Options".
2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Edit" tab.
3. Underneath "Text editing", uncheck "Show Paste Options buttons".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Microsoft Publisher 2007 - Hide Paste Options Button When Pasting Text
