This tip was printed from the MalekTips Computer and Technology Help and Tips website at http://malektips.com. Putty - Differentiate Sessions by ColorSUMMARY: Don't confuse your open Putty terminal sessions - give each connection window a different color.
If you need to open several Putty sessions at once, it may be hard at first glance to differentiate one session from the other, since all normally share the same font and color scheme. If you wish, you can make a particular session a different color, so that web server access may be green, a tail command spouting out log files could be in red, a configuration editor could be in blue, etc. |
