| Manually Check for Update SUMMARY: See if updates exist for RealPlayer that address performance, security, bug fixes, or new features.
Real periodically releases updates for RealPlayer, either to add new features, fix bugs, or handle security issues.
To ensure you are using the latest version of RealPlayer, you can manually check for updates by selecting "Tools" - "Check for Update". If updates are available you will be offered to check which ones you wish to download. Note that various add-ons and plug-ins may be listed; these are not required to use RealPlayer unless they are needed to view certain multimedia clips.
