RealPlayer - Move Temporary Files to Another Location

SUMMARY: Move temporary RealPlayer files to a different data drive or partition.

RealPlayer 10.5 normally stores temporary files as it plays streams and multimedia. Though normally stored on the same drive where your documents and settings are located, if you have a second hard drive or hard drive partition, you may wish RealPlayer to store temporary files there instead in case the first drive/partition is at risk of being filled up.

1. From RealPlayer, click "Tools" - "Preferences".

2. When the "Preferences" dialog box appears, click the "General" link in the left pane.

3. In the right pane, next to "Temporary Files", either enter the desired folder where your RealPlayer temporary files should exist, or click the "Browse" button to search for a folder.

4. When done, click "OK" to close the dialog box.
