Clear the History for Privacy

SUMMARY: Help protect your privacy by clearing RealPlayer's history of previously accessed multimedia files.

Normally RealPlayer 10.5 remembers the last few media files you opened. This way, if you want to quickly go back to a media file recently played / viewed, just select the "File" menu and choose from the list. For privacy reasons, however, you may wish to disable this history function.

1. From RealPlayer 10.5, click "Tools" - "Preferences".

2. When the "Preferences" dialog box appears, select "General".

3. Underneath "History", uncheck "Enable a history list in the File menu".

4. Click the "Clear History" button.

5. Click "OK" when prompted to clear the history.

6. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
