Stop Trying to Connect to the Internet When Offline

SUMMARY: Force RealPlayer to stop accessing your dial-up networking.

If you use RealPlayer as a jukebox, there may be times you want to play multimedia files when you are offline. However, much of RealPlayer's functionality requires connecting to the Internet, thus whenever RealPlayer wants to connect it may try accessing your dial-up networking account, for example.

If you wish to force RealPlayer to not attempt to connect to the Internet, no matter what operations you try to perform from the software, click "File" - "Work Offline". You'll now only be prompted if RealPlayer wants to go online.
