RealPlayer

Don't Show the Media Browser Upon Open

SUMMARY: Open RealPlayer 10.5 in a smaller Player view without the Media Browser taking up much of the screen.

When you open RealPlayer 10.5 from the "Start" menu, the large media browser may open. Depending on your previous RealPlayer use, you may return to the Real Guide, your music and library, a list of radio stations, or other options.

If, instead, you would rather just see the player whenever you start the software, do the following:

1. Click "Tools" - "Preferences".

2. When the "Preferences" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click "General" in the left pane.

3. In the right pane, next to "On startup display", select "Player only (no Media Browser)".

4. Click "OK" to close the "Preferences" dialog box.
