Router

Block Kids From Accessing Certain Sites

SUMMARY: Protect your kids even when you are not around.

Many routers contain the ability to block access to certain websites (check your router's manual for detailed instructions). This way, you can prevent your children from visiting pornographic, illegal, or adult websites that you define. If you do turn on this feature, be sure to lock down router administrator access with a username and hard-to-guess password so this feature doesn't get turned off.

After enabling this feature, access to restricted websites will result in a message such as "Blocked by router" or "Unauthorized site access not permitted".
