Safari for Windows - Make Safari, or Another Browser, the Default Web Browser

SUMMARY: Configure Safari, or another web browser, to be your default.

After using Safari for Windows for awhile, you may decide you would like to make it the default browser opened by e-mail messages, applications, the Start menu, etc. Alternatively, you may often use Safari but wish another web browser to be the default.

To change this option:

1. Choose "Edit" - "Preferences".

2. When the preferences dialog box opens click the "General" button.


3. Click on the up-down arrow next to "Default web browser".

4. Select your desired web browser from the list provided.

5. Click the "X" at the top-right of the preferences window to close it.
