Safari for Windows - Change What is Displayed When New Windows Open

SUMMARY: Configure what Safari displays when opening a new window.

By default, when opening new browser windows from within Safari for Windows, your home page is reloaded in the new windows. Depending on your preferences, you might rather have a blank page, the same page, or your bookmarks loaded instead of redisplaying the same information.

1. Choose "Edit" - "Preferences".

2. When the preferences dialog box opens click the "General" button.

3. Click on the up-down arrow next to "New Windows Open With".

4. Choose to open new windows with the home page, an empty (blank) page, the same page currently viewed, or a list of your bookmarks.

5. Click the "X" at the top-right of the preferences window to close it.

For example, if you selected "Bookmarks", open a new window and you should see a list of stored bookmarks.
