SUMMARY: Prevent Safari from blocking pop-up windows when websites need them to operate.
By default, Safari for Windows attempts to block web pages from displaying popup windows, a popular method of displaying advertisements. However, some web pages including online banking and other applications have legitimate needs to open a second window.
You can temporarily turn off Safari's popup window blocking and then turn it back on after performing tasks requiring a second window to be opened.
A. Select "Edit" and uncheck "Block Pop-up Windows".
B. Or, press Ctrl + Shift + K.
To turn pop-up window blocking back on, either repeat the above keystroke shortcut or re-check "Block Pop-up Windows".
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Safari for Windows - Temporarily Disable Pop-up Window Blocking
