SUMMARY: Impress others by having to break away from a social function for an 'important' cell phone call.

Trying to impress your family, coworkers, or friends with how popular you are? Or do you plan on attending an event where you might get in an awkward social situation and need a quick escape (i.e. networking function or family reunion)?

The Popularity Dialer website offers to call your cell phone at a predetermined time (or times), offering "calls" such as an affirmation or your "boss" giving you a ring. There are no charges for the calls; only five calls can be made per phone number, however.

As the site states, "You are a popular person, the world just might not know it yet!"
