What Rhymes with Kumquat or Rhythm?

SUMMARY: Search two rhyming dictionaries to find rhymes to words in your upcoming poem or song.

Writing a poem, such as a haiku, couplet, or limerick, and need to find a word that rhymes with the name of a food?

Perhaps there is a special someone in your life and you want to write them a love poem, but can't think of attractive rhymes for their name ("malice" just doesn't seem to work with "Alice").

Or, maybe you have a fascinating song lyric about mountains and need to write a refrain with several rhymes to the phrase "on high"?

The following sites offer rhyming dictionaries where you may be able to find a word or phrase that rhymes with your desired query:

RhymeZone displays rhymes, synonyms, definitions, and more for your desired word. You can sort results by syllables or letters, and even include rhyming phrases in your results (in case you want to find a 7-sylable rhyme for "Alice" such as "aurora borealis"). The site offers other miscellaneous features such as a list of famous quotations and documents plus verbal quizzes.

WriteExpress offers their "Free Online Rhyming Dictionary". Type in a word and select the type of rhyme you want - ending rhymes, last syllable rhymes, double rhymes, beginning rhymes, and first syllable rhymes. For the word "mountain" these different types of rhymes come up with results such as "action", "barren", "mouthful", and "mountie". A deluxe desktop version is also available for Mac and PC users.

WriteExpress found several End Rhymes for "kumquat" including "dogtrot" and "hotshot". For "rhythm", it found several Last Syllable Rhymes including "blossom" and "quantum".
