SUMMARY: Just how powerful IS this blender?
One of the most bizarre and entertaining (though some may say disturbing) demonstrations of the power of a kitchen appliance, "Will It Blend?" showcases what you can do with the Blendtec line of blenders.
The website has two main sections of items to blend - "Try This @ Home" and "Don't Try This @ Home". But I'm sure all you care about is the latter category :) so here are some examples of items they attempt to blend:
* Glow Sticks (see the blender glow - ooh and ahh!)
* Pickled Pigs Feet
* Golf Club
* iPod (No, blending the iPod will NOT get you unrestricted access to the protected tunes inside!)
* Hockey Pucks
* Oysters
* Tilapia
* Coke Can
* Golf Balls
When they say don't try this at home, they really mean don't try this at home! And definitely don't try drinking the results!
In case your blender just won't make a smooth enough fruit drink, you may want to check out this site and its products. And no, I have never personally tried one of these blenders - I just enjoy watching the movies.
