Trade DVDs with Others SUMMARY: Peerflix lets you trade DVDs with others, giving you access to more entertainment at a reduced cost.
Tired of watching the same old DVDs, but don't want to spend money on buying movies, using a rental service such as BlockBuster or NetFlix, or going to your local used video store which may or may not have what you want?
Peerflix touts itself as "The DVD Trading Community". With this service, users can trade DVDs for a nominal fee plus shipping costs. Each DVD traded earns the trader credit that they can use for other DVDs. Mailers, or "PeerMailers", can be printed to make it easier for members to trade DVDs via the mail.
Although with a service like this the content can vary rapidly every day, one glance did find popular movies available such as Batman Begins, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and Spider-Man 2.
Note that while cheaters can abuse this system, Peerflix does seem to take this problem seriously as noted by their visual illegal discs page.
