Mountain View, CA is the home of the Computer History Museum, containing artifacts, reading material, and more covering the span of computing history. If you are not able to visit the museum in person, they offer a website containing:

* A timeline of computing history from 1939 to 1996

* A history of the Internet from 1962 to 1992 including ARPANET designs

* "This Day in History" feature

* Digitized brochures including an Apple I Operation Manual, a marketing brochure for the Commodore 64 (only $595), and marketing for the IBM PCjr (complete with 64kb of RAM)
