Scanner Misc

Allow for Extra Warm-up Time

SUMMARY: A little extra scanner warm-up time may result in higher quality documents and photos.

My experience has always shown that scanners require a little extra time to warm up. Even though you may turn on a scanner and have it perform a few seconds of warm-up activities, show some patience and give the scanner a few extra minutes for the lamp to completely warm up before scanning documents or pictures. This has shown in the past to result in brighter, warmer colors and more accurate scans.
