SUMMARY: SpaceSniffer is a Windows program that graphically shows what files are taking up the most space on your hard drives.
SpaceSniffer is a portable Windows application that graphically shows a representation of which files and folders are taking up the most space on your hard drives. This is done by showing files and folders as boxes using Treemaps representations - the larger a box, the more space the file/folder is taking up relative to others.
You can delve into greater detail by double-clicking boxes, allowing you to see specifics on how much space files inside a small folder are taking on a hard drive, for example. The view can be filtered so you can see how much space is being used by specific file types such as .ZIP archives or executables. You can toggle viewing free space and adjust the box colors. You can even view multiple drive diagrams simultaneously, tiling the windows.
