Spybot Search and Destroy - Play or Mute Alert Sounds

SUMMARY: Play or mute alert sounds when Spy bot finishes its scans.

Spybot Search and Destroy can be configured to play alerts whenever it detects spyware, and it can also be set up to play alert sounds when no spyware is found. If you want to play or mute these sounds, do the following.

To make changes, you must be in Advanced mode. From Spybot Search and Destroy, click "Mode" and select "Advanced Mode" if it is not already selected. Then, click "Settings" and then in the right pane, click "Settings" from there.

Underneath "Play alerts on these occasions", check appropriate boxes to play alerts or uncheck the boxes to silent the alerts:

* When spies were found.
* When no spies were found.
