Spybot Search and Destroy - Scan for Usage Tracks

Normally, your computer stores usage tracks, such as files you have recently open, webpages you have recently visited, recent file search queries, etc. These can be useful in that if you want to quickly reopen a frequently accessed webpage, file, or option, the list of most recently used items is quickly available.

However, if you share a PC with others and do not have separate accounts installed, you may wish to eliminate these items before you close your Windows session. To help do this, Spybot Search and Destroy can be configured to detect and eliminate certain types of usage tracks on your machine.

1. Click "Mode", selecting "Advanced Mode".
2. Click "Settings" in the left pane.
3. Click "File Sets" in the right pane.
4. Underneath "Usage Tracking", check "Tracks.uti".
5. Click "Spybot S&D" in the left pane.
6. Click the "Check for problems" button in the right pane.

Spybot will now scan your machine for threats as well as usage tracks. Note that you can choose whether or not to remove a particular usage track by checking or unchecking the list of usage tracks in the "Problem" box after your system scan is complete.
