Spybot Search and Destroy - Do Not Remove Any Cookies

SUMMARY: Prevent Spybot Search and Destroy from detecting and removing cookie files.

If you frequently visit a lot of websites that either require cookies or allow you to bypass typing login information by using cookies, you may not wish Spybot Search and Destroy to look for and remove these cookies when checking for spyware. While some cookies can be labeled as containing tracking information, you may other cookies actually useful for your needs.

The following lets you disable searching for all cookies. Or, Spybot Search and Destroy can be configured to only ignore specific cookies that you want kept.

1. Access Advanced mode. From Spybot Search and Destroy, click "Mode" and select "Advanced Mode" if it is not already selected.

2. Click "Settings" and then in the right pane, click "File Sets" from there.

3. Uncheck "Cookies.sbi - Removes tracking cookies".
