Send a Bug Report SUMMARY: Did Spybot Search and Destroy crash or show a false alarm? Send a bug report to the author
Does Spybot Search and Destroy contain a bug, possibly causing it to crash or note a valid software program as a threat? If so, you can send a bug report or post a question in Spybot's support forum.
1. First, make sure you have the latest Spybot updates using the update technique mentioned elsewhere in this section of MalekTips.
2. Ensure you are in Advanced mode. Click the "Mode" menu item and choose "Advanced mode".
3. Click on "Tools" in the left pane.
4. Click on "Bug Report" in the right pane.
5. Decide to visit the support forums or click the "Next" button to fill out a bug report.
6. The support forums will appear in your browser window, or the bug report will appear in the Spybot window. Follow the onscreen prompts to send your bug report and/or question.
