If you constantly receive e-mail from a particular company and have no idea where you should sent an opt-out request to rid yourself of the e-mail (or if you should do so at all because sometimes sending opt-out emails can actually cause you to get more spam), Spybot Search and Destroy has a feature called "Opt Out".

Spybot can display a list of a few dozen companies with web or e-mail addresses that can be used to help opt-out of the e-mail. Note that these should only be used if you are already receiving advertisements from said companies and find no other way to stop the mailings. Also note that while this feature may help in some circumstances, opt-out instructions may change without notice.

1. Click "Mode", selecting "Advanced Mode".
2. Click "Tools" in the left pane.
3. Click "Opt Out" in the right pane.
