Spybot Search and Destroy - Change Internet Explorer's Window Title

SUMMARY: Make Internet Explorer 6's title say virtually anything you wish.

Normally, when you view websites in Internet Explorer 6, the title of the browser window changes to the currently visited website's title plus the addition of "Microsoft Internet Explorer".

For example:

"MalekTips - Microsoft Internet Explorer"

If you'd rather not continuously advertise Microsoft's product name in the window title of all browsed webpages, you can change this title to just about anything you want, such as "My Browser", "Just Surfin'", or a blank string.

1. Click "Mode", selecting "Advanced Mode".

2. Click "Tools" in the left pane.

3. Click "IE tweaks" in the right pane.

4. Next to "Current user" and/or "All users", enter the text you want displayed to the right of webpage titles in the window title bar of Internet Explorer. Then, click the corresponding "Apply" button to make the change.
