Spybot Search and Destroy

Fix Problems then Scan Again

SUMMARY: Perform two scans in a row with Spybot Search and Destroy to help remove certain hard-to-delete spyware and adware.

When attempting to eliminate spyware from a machine, one scan sometimes is not enough. Some spyware and adware may hide the existence of other malware, thus running just one clean may not fix all the problems. You might eliminate some spyware and adware but others may remain, previously hidden by other malware. Thus, Spybot Search and Destroy can be configured to rerun a system check after fixing problems.

1. Click "Mode", selecting "Advanced Mode".
2. Click "Settings" in the left pane.
3. Click "Settings" in the right pane.
4. Under "Automation" - "Program Start", check "Rerun checks after fixing problems."
