Spybot Search and Destroy - View a Detailed System Report

SUMMARY: View and create detailed system reports in Spybot Search and Destroy to help determine if spyware is installed and running.

To help you diagnose possible spyware or adware infections, or to provide information to a computer professional so they can help diagnose problems, Spybot Search and Destroy can create detailed reports including any or all of the following information:

* Results of the last malware scan in Spybot
* Installed ActiveX Controls
* Browser pages (home and search)
* Startup task list
* System information
* Installed BHOs (Browser Helper Objects)
* Running Process list
* List of Winsock LSPs (Layered Service Providers)

To generate and view a report:

1. Click "Mode", selecting "Advanced Mode".
2. Click "Tools" in the left pane.
3. Click "View Report" in the right pane.

From here, decide which items to include. You can also optionally not report disabled or known legitimate items. When done checking which items to include, click "View report". After viewing the report, you can click "Export" to save the report to a file for possible distribution to computer professionals for help.
