Though by using Spybot Search and Destroy's automatic update feature you can download new definition files, help files, immunization databases, etc., when new versions of the main software are released, they may not be visible in this list!

For example, at the time the tip was written, June 29, 2005, Spybot 1.3 users may never know version 1.4 exists as this upgrade is not listed when searching for updates.
