The CoolWebSearch browser hijackers can be some of the most difficult type of malware to remove. Some anti-spyware programs may detect CoolWebSearch on your machine, "remove" it, yet CoolWebSearch shows up again on a later scan. If this happens, you may wish to try the free CWShredder application by Trend Micro.

Click the "Remove CoolWebSearch" button, then save the file and double-click it to run. You can then perform a scan and fix various CoolWebSearch variants if found.

Note that CWShredder is built into Trend Micro Anti-Spyware. If you choose to install and run this commercial anti-spyware software you should not need to download CWShredder separately.
