SUMMARY: Prevent Spyware Doctor log files from filling up your hard drive.
Spyware Doctor normally keeps log files of your activities with the software. However, after performing many scans and other functions, you can begin to see log files take up a lot of hard drive space. In fact, by default, log files can take up to 20 MB of hard drive space.
While 20 MB may not seem like a lot nowadays, if you are running out of space, you can force Spyware Doctor to allot less room for its log entries.
1. Click the "Settings" button on the left side of the Spyware Doctor window.
2. Underneath "Pick a category", choose "Log Settings".
3. Make sure "Clear log directory when it exceeds" is checked.
4. Next to "MB", enter the maximum number of megabytes you wish Spyware Doctor to use for log files.
5. Click the "Apply" button to save your settings.
