Updating SpywareBlaster Fails

SUMMARY: Configure SpywareBlaster with your proxy server information if downloading updates fails.

If you are behind a proxy server when accessing the Internet, updating SpywareBlaster may fail unless you provide the server information. To do so:

1. Click the "Updates" graphic on the left side of SpywareBlaster.

2. Click the "Options" link that will appear below "Updates".

3. Update options will appear. Click the radio button "Use the proxy below (address:port)" and provide the proxy address and port number. You may need to contact your system administrator for more information.

4. Now, click the "Updates" graphics and try clicking the "Check for Updates" button again.
