SpywareBlaster

View and Change Browser Pages

SUMMARY: Use SpywareBlaster to change web browser home and search pages that may have been changed by spyware / adware.

SpywareBlaster lets you change the default Internet Explorer and Mozilla / Firefox start and search pages for the current user as well as the local machine defaults. This is useful in case spyware or adware changed these pages to one not of your choosing. Note that if your machine is still infected when you make these changed, change you make may be reverted, so be sure to clean your machine up first with spyware / adware removal tools, then change the pages back to what they used to be.

1. From SpywareBlaster, click the "Tools" tab on the left.

2. Click the "Browser Pages" tab on top.

3. There are two sections, one for Internet Explorer, and one for Mozilla (if you have a Mozilla browser installed, such as Firefox).

4. To get more information on the page represented by a particular URL, click the URL and then click "More Info on Item".

5. To change an URL, click the URL to change and click the "Change" button. Enter your new URL and follow the onscreen prompts.
