SpywareBlaster - View and Change Internet Explorer Default Pages

SUMMARY: Use SpywareBlaster to change Internet Explorer home, search, and other default pages that may have been changed by spyware / adware.

SpywareBlaster lets you change the default Internet Explorer start, search, and other pages for the current user as well as the local machine defaults. This is useful in case spyware or adware changed these pages to one not of your choosing.

Note that if your machine is still infected with malware when you make changes with this tool, those changes may get reverted. First, clean your machine up with spyware / adware removal tools, and then use this tool to change the pages back to what they used to be.

1. From SpywareBlaster, click the "Tools" image.

2. Click the "IE Browser Pages" link.

3. Your Internet Explorer browser pages should display. Click the pull-down next to "View and edit Internet Explorer browser pages for user" to choose whether to modify settings for a user or globally.

4. To change a particular page, enter the URL next to the page type and click "Apply" (hovering over a page type displays more information near the bottom of the SpywareBlaster window).

5. Click "Show All Pages" to show all Internet Explorer-related pages, not just the ones that are not blank.
