SpywareBlaster - Change the Internet Explorer Title Text

Normally, when you view websites in Internet Explorer 6, the title of the browser window changes to the currently visited website's title plus the addition of "Microsoft Internet Explorer".

For example:

"MalekTips - Microsoft Internet Explorer"

If you'd rather not continuously advertise Microsoft's product name in the window title of all browsed webpages, you can change this title to just about anything you want, such as "My Browser", "Just Surfin'", or a blank string.

1. From SpywareBlaster, click the "Tools" tab on the left.

2. Click the "Misc. IE Settings" tab on top.

3. Underneath "IE Window Title Text", enter the text you want displayed to the right of webpage titles in the window title bar of Internet Explorer. Then, click the "Apply" button to make the change.

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to SpywareBlaster - Change the Internet Explorer Title Text
