This tip was printed from the MalekTips Computer and Technology Help and Tips website at http://malektips.com. SpywareBlaster - Disable the Internet Explorer Home Page Settings AreaSUMMARY: Help protect your Internet Explorer home page from being accidentally changed.
To help prevent your Internet Explorer home page from changing, either accidentally by you or by spyware, you can have SpywareBlaster apply a change that keeps the page from being altered from within the browser.
Note that if you ever later want to change Internet Explorer's home page from within the browser's Internet Options, you must go back and reverse this tip (clear the checkbox). Also, some other anti-spyware/malware applications may generate a false alarm when they notice this change being applied.
