Miscellaneous Software - Norton Utilities V2.0: The Singing, Defragging Computer

In case you didn't know, with Norton's Utilities (c) V2.0, you can have your computer play any .MID or .WAV file while defragging a hard drive (while running the Speed Disk program). To do so, first open Speed Disk from the "Start" menu. Click on the "Properties" pull-down button, choosing "Options." On the dialog box that follows, click on the "Appearance: tab. Under "Music," check the "Play Music" box. Under "Select a WAVE...", choose a .wav or .mid file to play. Press OK to close the dialog box.

Now your computer will play music while running Speed Disk! I have not noted any ill-effects from enabling this option, but you may want to test on non-essential data first before enabling this option "for good."
