| Outlook Express - Use more than just a Signature
Instead of typing in your name, E-Mail address, web address, etc. at the end of business correspondence, you can attach a business card-like vCard. These vCards let your E-Mail recipients, with the proper software, to instantly see the type of information that they normally would see on your business card.
Open Outlook Express and select the "Tools" menu, choosing "Stationary." Choose the "Mail" or "News" tab, depending on what messages you wish the vCard to appear. Click on the "Signature..." button to add a vCard to your messages. On the dialog box that appears, click the "New..." button next to "vCard." On the multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, type in the information that you wish distributed, being sure to type something in the "Display" field. Now, when you get back to the "Signature" dialog box, check "Attach card to all outgoing messages."
When using vCards, remember that not everyone can see them. You may still wish to attach text signatures to your messages for people that can not see vCards.
