Works 2000 - Word Processor - Interesting Bulleted Lists

SUMMARY: Tired of seeing the normal circle for bulleted lists? Here's how you can change that character to something else.

Bulleted lists are great for focusing attention on key facts in a document. The bullet symbol, however, can become a little mundane. Why not change the bullet to an envelope, a checkbox, or perhaps a smiley face?

To perform this trick, click the "Format" menu and choose "Bullets and Numbering". In the dialog box that follows, make sure the "Bulleted" tab is selected. From here you can select the bullet graphic that appears before each item in the next list. Just click the desired graphic and press "OK" to close the dialog box.

If you are creating another list in the current document and want to change the bullet graphic back to the original, just repeat the above steps and use the standard bullet graphic.
