SUMMARY: TrayStatus is a freeware application that displays status icons for your hard drive and Caps / Num / Scroll Lock keys.
Do you have a keyboard or laptop that does not have status lights for the Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock keys? Or are you a touch-typist and would like to see the status of such keys without having to look away from the screen? Also, curious when your hard drive is active?
TrayStatus (freeware) lets you view icons in the System Tray area of the Windows Taskbar representing the lock/unlock state of these keys as well as hard drive activity, showing when the hard drive is reading and/or writing. You can hover over the hard drive icon to view read/write rates of megabytes per second.
TrayStatus runs on Windows 2000 and up. Note that you may have to install the Microsoft.NET Framework V2.0 framework if it is not already installed on your system.
